전병삼은 '불가능의 세계'를 탐구하는 현대미술가이다. 프랑스 파리 유네스코 본부에서 초대전을 하였고, 지난 20여년간 UNESCO, SIAF, SIGGRAPH, ISIMD, AsiaGraph, ArtBots, Netfilmmakers 등 세계 각지에서 작품을 발표하였다. 2014년 미래창조과학부가 발표한 한국의 대표적 융합형인재 ‘호모크리엔스’에 선정되었고, 중국 베이징에서 람보르기니社와 협업하였다.
Jeon Byeongsam is a contemporary artist who explores the "impossible world." He held an invitation exhibition at the UNESCO headquarters in Paris, France, and has presented works worldwide for over 20 years at venues including UNESCO, SIAF, SIGGRAPH, ISIMD, AsiaGraph, ArtBots, Netfilmmakers, and more. In 2014, he was selected as a representative fusion artist of Korea's Ministry of Science, ICT and Future Planning, so called “Homo Creaens,” and collaborated with Lamborghini in Beijing, China.

이 작품은 가상의 외계 생명체에 대한 상상에서 출발한다.
지구에 떨어진 운석 틈새에서 원자 크기의 마이크로 외계 생명체를 발견하였다. 이번 발견은 우리의 지구가 생명을 품은 우주의 유일한 행성이 아니라는 증거로 역사에 기록될 전망이다. 양자 현미경을 통해 운석 시료를 확대 관찰했을 때, 비드만스태텐 구조 사이의 틈새에서 0.1나노미터 크기로 불규칙하게 깜빡이는 한 점을 발견하게 된 것이다. 연구 결과, 이 회색 점은 동전 모양의 원형으로 그 중심을 기준으로 수없이 많은 원형 패턴들이 겹겹이 쌓인 독특한 구조를 띠고 있다. 또한 중심부로부터 다양한 색상의 빛을 방출하는데, 이것은 그동안 지구상에 떨어진 어떠한 운석에서도 발견되지 않은 놀라운 것이다. 본 작품은 이 가상 외계 생명체를 약 30억 배 확대하여 지름 약 3미터 크기로 선보인다.
This work originates from imagining extraterrestrial creatures. Atom-sized micro extraterrestrial creatures are discovered in the crevices of a meteor that landed on Earth. This discovery suggests that Earth is not the only planet in the universe with life. When observing the meteor sample through a quantum microscope, a flickering point about 0.1 nanometers in size is found in the gaps between bismuth telluride structures. Research results show that this gray point has a circular coin-like shape with numerous circular patterns stacked on top of each other around its center. It also emits light of various colors from its center, something unprecedented in any meteor that has fallen on Earth so far.
