오디오비주얼 아티스트이자 전자음악 작곡가인 윤제호는 전시와 공연 분야를 넘나드는 활동을 하고 있다. 그는 자신이 상상하는 디지털 공간을 컴퓨터로 디자인한 소리와 광학 장치의 빛으로 현실 공간에 채운다. 관객은 작품 안에서 빛과 소리를 촉각적으로 느끼며 거닐고 쉬면서 현실과 가상이 혼재된 시대를 살아가는 자신의 정체성에 대해 고민하게 된다.

Yun Jeho, an audiovisual artist and electronic music composer, engages in activities that transcend exhibitions and performances. He designs the imagined digital spaces with sound and light from optical devices, filling physical spaces with them. As viewers physically experience light and sound within the artwork, they contemplate their identity as they navigate an era where reality and virtuality coexist.

이 작품은 가상의 운석 충돌을 기반으로 한다. 인천 영종도에 운석이 떨어진다는 신호가 포착되었다. 이 신호를 받은 작가는 연구자가 되어 운석의 비밀을 풀기 위한 레이저와 조명 전자음악을 사용한 오디오 비주얼 퍼포먼스를 한다. 컴퓨터로 발생한 디지털 파동 메시지를 언어로, 운석을 보낸 세계와 소통을 시도한다. 일상적인 텍스트를 모스 부호로 변환한 리듬을 시작으로 다양하게 발전된 리듬 메시지를 만들어 우주 세계와 대화를 시도한다. 소리에 반응하는 레이저 빛은 전자기파를 상징한다. 처음에는 메시지의 신호를 나타내는 사인을 시작으로, 유성으로 발전한 후 차츰 공간 전체를 가득 채우는 행성, 별, 은하가 되어 ‘플라자’ 공간을 우주 공간으로 변화시킨다.

This work is based on a virtual meteor collision. Signals of a meteor fall on Yeongjong Island, Incheon, have been captured. Responding to these signals, the artist takes on the role of a researcher and presents an audiovisual performance using lasers, lighting, and electronic music to unravel the meteor's mysteries. Digitally generated wave signals attempt to communicate with the world that sent the meteor. Starting with rhythm converted from everyday text into Morse code, a variety of rhythmic messages develop, attempting a dialogue with the universe. Laser light responsive to sound symbolizes electromagnetic waves. Initially indicating message signals, it evolves into meteors and gradually fills the entire space, transforming the "Plaza" space into the space itself.
